While there, Leon was always supportive, encouraging, and kind.
Leon was so upbeat and positive all the time. I was admitted to the ICU and remained there for 2.5 weeks. While there, Leon was always supportive, encouraging, and kind. He always called me by my name and did not make me feel like just another patient. I felt like a person, and when my significant other came to visit, he always remembered her name and always called her by her name.

He was so knowledgeable when I would ask questions. Multiple Myeloma cancer is so frightening and exhausting. Leon was so positive, and I think he really cared that I was well taken care of and had everything I needed. When they moved me from the ICU to the 4th floor, he came to visit me and to find out how I was feeling. My significant other met him in the hall one day, and he remembered her name. We are eternally grateful for the excellent care, compassion, knowledge, and dedication he has shown.
