Recognizing that the patient felt disconnected and uncomfortable, she took it upon herself to provide several extra comforts that transformed his stay.

She personally provided a haircut and a clean shave, helping the patient feel like himself again. This wasn't just about grooming; it was a profound act of respect. She went out of her way to bring him snacks, meeting a basic need with a level of kindness that helped break down his defensive barriers. I work in housekeeping, and I work in this unit, and everyone is amazing, but Lenna has always been so nice and loving. She is always smiling and making everyone around her smile. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is doing well and having a good day. I don't want to tell her secrets, but she always has the best snacks.
