Leanne was nominated by the wife of a patient for the incredible kindness she showed both of them. On the couple’s anniversary, Leanne picked up a card for the patient to give to his wife and helped him personalize the message.

The wife was incredibly touched: "I was blown away by her effort. Birthdays and anniversaries are very stressful times in the hospital, and this act of kindness was above and beyond other nursing duties. It meant so much."
