I wanted to just say how impressed I am with the care I received here from Bella. If I had to choose one word that sums up my whole experience, it would be extraordinary. From her bedside manner to her work ethic, she was very attentive despite many other patients needing a lot of her time. She never made me feel like I was bothering her when I needed something, which is something I have experienced in the past. In my opinion, this hospital is very lucky and fortunate to have her as an employee. She is exceptional!

I recently spent several days unexpectedly in St Joseph's. While virtually all the staff I encountered were very kind and attentive, one was exceptionally so. Leabella was my assigned nurse for 3 of the 4 days I was there. The amount of kindness and compassion she demonstrated was beyond words. Because of numerous things going on in my life beyond the medical reason I was there, I was quite emotional and at times was struggling to keep it together. She immediately recognized this and was very comforting.

She reminded me that there are resources available and let me know it was okay to vent, and I didn't have to keep my emotions to myself. She is a terrific nurse and an even better human being who will go far in life. She is truly an asset to St Joseph's Health and any patient who receives care from her. When her shift ended on the last day, I was under her care, and I was happy knowing I would be discharged the next morning, while almost simultaneously experiencing sadness that I would likely never have any additional interaction with this amazing human being. I felt truly blessed to have met her. Leabella is truly a class act!
