Lea is truly heaven-sent for this clinic and its purpose. Lea goes above and beyond for every single patient.
Not a month after our 2-year-old's incident, our infant daughter was seen in the clinic for ventriculomegaly. After a couple of visits, we began to notice new symptoms that were concerning to us. Lea and I agreed to visit the PCP to rule out viral illnesses first. Once I messaged her to let her know that the PCP ruled them out, it was less than four hours from the time I sent the message to the time we left Children's after receiving an MRI and seeing the doctor, who gave us great news of stability.

I am not a stranger to the number of hoops Lea had to jump through to make all of those schedules and treatments align so quickly that morning. I am forever grateful for her and the doctor who fit a patient he had never seen before into his schedule, same day. Lea is truly heaven-sent for this clinic and its purpose. Lea goes above and beyond for every single patient. Our family knows this well, as she has cared for two of our children with the utmost respect, knowledge, and compassion for each of them.

Our 2-year-old daughter was seen in the clinic for head trauma from an accident. Although this incident did not require surgery and healed on its own, Lea was always extremely thorough in our visits, and you could tell that she truly cared for our daughter and our family. When Dr. Tanaka wanted us to see how serious the injury was on the MRI images, Lea took our daughter to play in the hallway so that we could put our entire attention on the screen and the information being given to us. No one asked her to do that. She didn't have to do that. She went out of her way to make the visit easier on us, and we adore her for that.
