Lauren Johnson, RN
I would like to recognize Lauren for the exceptional care, dedication, and compassion she consistently provides to both her patients and coworkers. As a wound care nurse, Lauren goes far beyond the expectations of her role. Her knowledge, skill, and attention to detail have made a tremendous impact on patient healing and comfort.
Her calm presence and compassionate approach make patients feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for during what can often be painful and emotional treatments.
What truly sets Lauren apart is her unwavering commitment to her patients, even outside of her scheduled hours. Time and time again, she always answers her phone to answer any and all questions, and she has willingly come in during her off hours to assist not only as an RN on the floor during a trauma or busy situation, but specifically to care for wound care patients who are most comfortable and familiar with her.
Many patients become anxious or uneasy when she is not there, and her willingness to return simply to provide reassurance and continuity of care speaks volumes about her character and dedication. She is the kind nurse who consistently puts patients first and makes everyone around her feel supported.
Her compassion extends beyond medical treatment - she provides emotional comfort, trust, and dignity to those in her care. Her heartfelt dedication never goes unnoticed.
