Nomination 1: I would like to express my family’s gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for infusion nurse LaToya Wright. We would like to highlight the profound difference she has made in my wife’s journey. LaToya’s kindness, friendliness, and responsiveness have not been merely superficial but rather a genuine reflection of her dedication to providing excellent service. My wife is on treatment number seven, and we still have a tough battle ahead; however, Latoya serves as a beacon of hope, guiding my wife through this process with a smile. Latoya does an excellent job providing a thorough explanation of the chemo process as she does her job. All of our worries and questions went away after treatment number one. Great service is hard to find in society today, but we’ve received great service here at Chesapeake Infusion Center. On chemo days, instead of my wife saying, “I am going to get chemo,” she says with a smile on her face, “I am going to see Toya.” As we continue through this process, we are grateful to have Toya as her nurse. Thank you, Toya!

Nomination 2: I appreciate the patience and comfort she brings to me when I have my infusion appointments. She gives me all the information I need to understand my appointments and she listens to me. Sometimes patients just need a person that is willing to listen. Thank you.
