Lacie is a night shift RN in the ICU at Integris Edmond. During my father's stay and until his passing, Lacie showed so much compassion for my father and family. She was gentle when answering questions. I am also a nurse, so I know the heartache that comes with delivering news that will bring tears and change lives. Lacie was his nurse for several nights at the start of his stay and his nurse the night of his passing. Lacie was informative and honest while being supportive of whatever decision we made as a family.

Lacie provided updates, specifically to me, because I also work nights, when there were changes in my dad's condition. When the family gathered to make the decision to take him off life support and begin comfort care, Lacie made sure we had drinks and snacks in the room. Lacie encouraged us to share memories and stories. Lacie explained everything that would happen when the vent and IV medications were removed/stopped. I'm so thankful for Lacie and the love and compassion she pours into her patients and their families.
