After our son was born, we spent 12 days with Lacey as our primary nurse. We couldn't have asked for a better person to spend those days with. When we had a scare from the Panda warmer causing my son to overheat and get a fever of 101.4 at 6 days old, she came rushing in, fixed the issue, and helped deal with my panic. She sat with me when he continued to have blood work done and IV blood draws. When we had to move room to room during this stay, she made sure we didn't feel like a burden or like we were taking up space. She kept checking on us even after we moved to a different area of the hospital. And sat with me when I sobbed about our son getting sent to the children’s hospital. Nothing is worse than hearing your newborn scream from constantly being poked and prodded. Lacey made sure we knew everything would be ok. She was a constant place of stability when we were struggling to adjust to everything new on top of everything going on medically with our baby. Every time we come to an appointment, we make time to take him to see her, and it's beautiful watching him still have her as a source of stability.

Thank you, Lacey, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
