Lacee is so caring. My husband was in IMU several times over the last 6 months. We were blessed several times during that period to have Lacee as his nurse. She was prompt to meet M's needs. One special skill that she has is to calm her patients when they are scared or upset. When something happened that frightened M, she would get close to his face, put her hands on him, and proceed to tell him he was ok, that he was fine, no, he didn't code. He trusted her, and he'd calm down. Even when she wasn't his nurse, if he needed something, she'd get it for him. I'm so thankful for Lacee, and she definitely deserves this award.
