In an area of healthcare where moments matter, this team consistently demonstrates an incredible ability to work seamlessly during some of life's most critical, joyous, or emotional moments.

As a nursing supervisor, I have the unique perspective of watching all of our units in action. This team exemplifies what it means to support one another while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I have witnessed many high-acuity situations and am always in admiration of their clear communication, anticipation of acute changes, and everyone's willingness to step in to assist their colleagues and, most importantly, some of our tiniest patients. Whether responding to an emergency delivery, supporting a patient experiencing complications, or even on the days when we have moms laboring on all three units, this team remains calm, coordinated, and always working together.

What truly sets this group apart is their ability to work under such immense pressure and adapt to any and every change while never losing sight of the emotion, anticipation, and joy welcoming new life brings. They provide reassurance to anxious families and create an environment where all patients and their support feel welcomed, safe, and heard. They are some of the fiercest advocates I have ever worked with.

Their teamwork and compassion extend beyond the bedside and clinical tasks as this team actively supports one another during challenging shifts, large upswings in census, and long days. They celebrate the wins and acknowledge the difficult days together. The respect for one another is palpable from the moment you enter one of these three units. This culture of respect, trust, and shared responsibility allows them to function as an amazing, unified team.
