I had been induced with my son and was in labor for around 12 hours. I was getting prepared for a C-Section when nurse Billie came on shift. She was so compassionate, caring, and patient with me during one of my scariest moments. I was so anxious, but she was honest with me, walked me through exactly what was going to happen, and calmed my nerves. I didn't want her to leave my side. Nurse Colleen was my nurse who cared for me postpartum. She brought such a fun energy into the room and was so encouraging while I was navigating breastfeeding and recovering. She was so caring, informative, and kind to me, my husband, and our son. Both of these women were fantastic nurses for me and my son. I was a young 20-year-old, anxious mother. They both answered every question I had without making me feel silly. My entire career team was fantastic, but these two women left a huge impression on me. My husband and I were both so grateful.
