She could tell something was wrong with my baby out of instinct and being extra concerned when I couldn’t tell (and this was my 5th baby).
Not only was Kyndel fabulous at meeting my every need and fulfilling every major and minor request for myself and baby, Kyndel came in the room to give baby a bath like I requested so I could put her clothes on. I wanted to feed her and Kyndel was trying to help me get her to latch. When neither of us could get baby to latch, Kyndel tried making her suck on her finger and then tried comforting her and gave her a bottle herself, still with no luck. Kyndel asked if she could take the baby to check her oxygen because she was using too many muscles to breathe for her comfort. When Kyndel took the baby to check her oxygen, it wasn’t too low but just to be extra cautious, Kyndel called NICU to check the baby out. Only to find out that my baby’s lungs had collapsed. Kyndel and I talked small talk before the issue occurred and I learned that Kyndel does not have any children. She could tell something was wrong with my baby out of instinct and being extra concerned when I couldn’t tell (and this was my 5th baby). If it were not for Kyndel, I would have never known that anything was wrong with my baby. I would have thought that she just wouldn’t latch. For someone who has no children of her own, I am just so amazed! Kyndel most definitely takes her job seriously and goes above and beyond to make sure that every baby is 100 percent at all times. If it were not for Kyndel, my baby may not be here with us today. She was absolutely god sent and she is truly a blessing to have as part of your staff. Thank you, Kyndel for saving my baby’s life!
