Ms. LaRiviere delivers exceptional care and serves as a role model for the nursing profession daily. She currently serves as the lead RN for the Blue Hall at the Grafenwoehr Health Clinic, where she supports six Primary Care Providers, assists and advises SCMH personnel, and manages over 2147 empaneled patients. Additionally, she volunteers to cover for Nurse Case Management during their absence.

She serves as a resource and preceptor to all, actively contributing to critical process improvement projects, and has revised four key Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including adding a Vaginitis algorithm to Clinical Support Staff Protocols, Initial Pregnancy Referrals, PAP result notification processes, and an MHS GENESIS Messaging SOP.

As a Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Trainer, Ms. LaRiviere has taught fifteen classes, training over 94 students across MEDDAC-Bavaria (MEDDAC-B), and eight new BLS instructors.

Since November 2024, Ms. LaRiviere has consistently volunteered her time to teach a monthly nursing skills lecture during New Employee Orientation for all new nurses and medics across the Brigade. She further went above and beyond by dedicating dozens of personal hours to developing a comprehensive nursing skills video, including scripting, coordinating with VIOS, and making revisions to the film.

Her contributions as a Performance Improvement (PI) committee member have positively impacted the health and wellness of staff and patients throughout U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria. Her recent efforts over the last six months in spearheading the clinic's main PI project, a BLS refresher program, have increased BLS skill confidence in 42 staff members by 25%.

Additionally, she applied to present this project and represent the Grafenwoehr Health Clinic at the 2025 Fall Continuing Medical Education Symposium to share her knowledge across the Region.

Currently, she is working with the Chief Medical Officer, Clinical Pharmacist, Internist, Dietitian, and Army Wellness Center to develop a GLP-1 Medication SOP.

In her free time, she is also pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at the University of Alabama, and her passion to learn and educate others is infectious.

She is dedicated to the mission and vision of this organization, constantly seeking ways to help others through process improvement initiatives that promote Ready Reliable Care Principles.

Beyond her clinic duties, Ms. LaRiviere served as the American Red Cross volunteer coordinator for U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria. Her dedication was instrumental in onboarding 23 volunteers who provided over 2881 patient care hours across MEDDAC-B clinics throughout FY23.

Ms. LaRiviere's commitment to excellence is evident in her dedication to both patients and staff. Her leadership, initiative, and willingness to go above and beyond consistently contribute to the success of our clinic and MEDDAC-B.
