Kyle is a coworker of mine on 3S. Kyle has always been a nurse on the floor whom everyone could depend on. Kyle has gone above and beyond for one of our patients on the floor. The patient was in a motor vehicle accident involving her husband and dogs. The husband has been in critical condition in the ICU, and two of her dogs have been missing since the accident.

The patient has expressed to me how grateful she is to Kyle. Kyle has made sure the patient has been able to visit her husband in the ICU during his shift. In his free time, Kyle has volunteered his time to help search for one of the missing dogs. Even if it meant going all the way to Williams. Kyle has always been an amazing nurse, but his actions with this patient clearly prove he is exceptional.

Kyle, if you’re reading this, thank you for going above and beyond for this patient. Your impact has been more than you know.

My husband and I were in a deadly car accident. My husband was admitted to CVICU, and I was in critical care. My nurse, Kyle Vesely, was the kindest nurse I have ever had, making sure I was comfortable and keeping me informed on my husband’s condition. I never had to ask him to find out info about my husband; Kyle always had info for me.

He went above and beyond when he went out looking for one of our dogs that escaped the scene. We were traveling with 3 – one died, two escaped. They found one and are still looking for one. Kyle, on his days off, is out with other volunteers searching for her and keeping me informed. He has restored my faith in the kindness of people in this world. He always asks how I’m doing after being released and reminds me to take care of myself.
