The most critical element of being a nurse is to have compassion for the patients you support. I am nominating Kuadria for the DAISY Award because she consistently demonstrates this every day that she comes to work; there is never a day that she does not prioritize the residents' needs above all else, and you can visibly see the deep connection and love she has for the children and young adults she supports. She is always going above and beyond to ensure that they receive the very best care possible. She truly displays immense love and supports each individual with exactly what they need on a personal level, and there have been countless occasions I have seen this firsthand. She truly is a fantastic nurse.

I nominate Kuadria due to her outstanding performance in caring for the children in all units. I have observed Kuadria professionally conducting herself in complex situations. It does not matter what unit she is called to serve; she never ceases to make the children’s health her top priority. This includes administering the children's medications on time and rushing to meet their needs. I have observed in multiple situations when suddenly a resident will have a seizure, and she would run to provide the care and interventions needed and, most of all, help alleviate the pain/ discomfort from that resident.
Kuadria displays impeccable leadership daily. The leadership spirit that she possesses has always captivated people’s attention and has set them up for great success in the workplace. Watching her train and educate her colleagues, advocate for others, encourage and uplift, and assist all her coworkers shows that she is well deserving of the DAISY Award.

Kuadria provides excellent care and service to the children and is always passionate about them. She works hard, having started as a DSP and progressed to become a nurse, and goes above and beyond for the children and staff.
