Ms. Krystle Ditter is a virtuoso nurse—an exemplary UHS nurse who genuinely cares for and advocates on behalf of her patients. She demonstrates a high level of intelligence, compassion, common sense, and thoughtful skill in her interactions with patients. In my case, this was evident when a diagnostic angiogram evolved into an overnight stay due to life-saving carotid stents.
Thanks to Krystle’s impeccable, kind, wonderful, and deeply attentive care, when she learned the doctors wanted me on a special statin—NEXLICET—that we couldn’t afford, she sprang into action! She reached out to MAP, CARELINK, the care team, and doctors, determined to ensure I did not leave the hospital without this medication that would help preserve the efforts of the neurosurgeons. Thanks to Krystle’s dedication and exceptional work ethic, several departments are now collaborating to obtain this medicine—and she has succeeded!
