Throughout a lengthy hospitalization, Kristina Siradze-Meshki was a constant source of support for one patient. The patient recalled missing three of her children's birthdays during her stay and said that, during some of her most difficult moments, Kristina would sit with her, listen, and remind her that she could make it through "one more day."

Those acts of compassion and encouragement, along with her excellent clinical care, helped the patient maintain hope throughout recovery. "I will not remember every medication or every procedure I've had, but I'll always remember Kristina. I will remember the hope, the comfort, the confidence I felt knowing she was my nurse,” the patient wrote.
