Kristina guided me through more comfortable labor positions, taught me calmly, and encouraged me with soft, empowering words that gave me the strength to carry on.
To the exceptional nurse Kristina, I would like to express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional care I received during the birth of my daughter. One particular nurse stood out in a way unlike any I have encountered throughout my professional career or even during my previous childbirth experiences. This is not a comparison meant to diminish the dedication of other staff members at the hospital, but rather a sincere testament to how perfectly suited she is for her role.
I feel compelled to share my experience under her care, which felt less like a clinical encounter and more like a profoundly therapeutic journey. It was as though I had been transported from a hospital setting to a wellness and rehabilitation center—one still under the umbrella of King Faisal, but elevated by the compassion and excellence of her presence.
She took over the shift from the equally wonderful nurse W, unaware at the time that I was a fellow staff member. Nonetheless, she approached me with a warm smile and introduced herself with the utmost professionalism. From that moment on, she remained by my side without pause. Her patience was remarkable. She guided me through more comfortable labor positions, taught me calmly, and encouraged me with soft, empowering words that gave me the strength to carry on. I felt seen, supported, and cared for—as though I were being watched over by a mother.
At one point, the anesthesiologist considered increasing my epidural dosage. With respectful confidence and professional insight, Kristina intervened to explain that I was progressing exceptionally well and that a stronger dose might hinder my ability to push. Both the physician and I wholeheartedly agreed with her thoughtful recommendation.
When my daughter was born, she ensured immediate skin-to-skin contact. Her eyes welled with tears of joy, as if the child were her own. I felt an emotional bond with her that I had never experienced in a medical setting.
She stayed by my side throughout the four-hour labor and delivery, and even after I was transferred to my room, she continued to ensure my comfort and well-being. She was not just a nurse—she was a caregiver in every sense of the word: a mother, a sister, and a true professional. She carries out her responsibilities with sincerity, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care, all while gently educating and empowering those under her watch. She is a shining example of what compassionate, skilled nursing truly looks like.
Thank you, Kristina.
