Kristina went above and beyond for me. She answered my calls promptly and professionally. She is a wonderful, caring nurse. I never felt she was there for any reason but to make my stay as good and pleasant as possible.

She answered my questions in a manner my 82-year old mind could understand. She treated me with respect and professionalism. She explained things to me so I could understand why I was there and what I needed to know.

Phelps Memorial is very lucky to have her as a nurse. She was a great comfort to me and never made me feel like I was a burden.

Our 88-year old Dad was a patient for almost 10 days. We didn’t find out until halfway through the stay for sure that he had had a stroke. It was a very difficult and scary time for him as well as all his family. When she was with him, Kristina was so compassionate and caring about all of his needs and ours! She was the one who noticed things that had otherwise gone unnoticed and, therefore, got him additional attention and care that he needed.

He didn’t smile much those first few days, but he absolutely did whenever Kristina came into his room and interacted with him. She would always brighten his day! She never failed to make him feel comfortable, whether that was physically or emotionally. Although the entire staff has been the absolute best, Kristina definitely went above and beyond while caring for our Dad!
