She cared, and we could feel it.
Our dad’s cancer worsened far quicker than anticipated. In a short amount of time, he went from recovering from Car T to having cancer in his brain. Kristi paused, listened, and understood our dad’s wishes for end-of-life care. She advocated with the provider and pacemaker representative to help accomplish those wishes. She cared, and we could feel it.
Seeing her hug our mom and care for our dad was a blessing. This has been one of the hardest times of our lives. Our dad is the only one we have. He and Mom are the rocks of our family. They’ve been together 54 years. So, for them to be cared for with respect and compassion made the pain and loss bearable. End-of-life separation is so hard, and Kristi walked with us through it.
