Kristen comes into work early every day with a positive attitude and kindness. She has come in early many mornings and stayed late many evenings to ensure her patients are taken care of. Kristen does the job of many in a day, whether it is helping the ER or Med/Surg; she always manages to do her best. It is not uncommon to see Kristen working at the Med/Surg desk instead of her office to help the floor nurses.

Of the many examples to use, I chose the most recent. Last week, Kristen and I were out of the office marketing and her scheduled replacement ended up unable to work. When we returned that afternoon, Kristen stayed to make sure that the patient’s needs were met and did her office work for the day instead of going home to her family. Kristen is a phenomenal nurse whom others strive to be like.
