Kristee Glaman went  above and beyond to help comfort a patient and to bring his wife to him. 

Kristee Glaman is the doctor's triage nurse. He saw one of his patients for hip pain on a Friday, and upon examination,  found the patient to have a very dangerous, irregular heart rhythm that needed attention. The doctor stated he needed to go to the ER immediately. The patient was resistant because his wife was at home and his car was at the clinic; therefore, he did not want to go to the ER.

Kristee went to talk with the patient to convince him to go to the ER immediately. She asked the patient if she could call his wife, and when she did, she updated her on what was going on and asked if she could personally pick her up and bring her to the ER during her lunch hour. The patient’s wife agreed, and the patient agreed to go to the ER.

Kristee picked up the patient’s wife, and as she approached the ER, a patient had fallen in front of her car in the ER parking lot. She stopped and helped the patient up. A code-medical was called. Another ER nurse who was driving by also came to help, and a Stuart’s Landscaping employee ran to get a wheelchair. An ER nurse took the patient who fell into the ER. Kristee brought the patient’s wife to him so they could be together.
