A 6-week outpatient regimen of daily antibiotic infusions gets old, but when a cheerful nurse like Kristan makes each encounter pleasant, the routine is much less of a grind. My husband is the patient, and he has come home with glowing reports of the meticulous care he has received on the days he has gone alone, and I fully agree when I have actually been present and observed the same.
