Having cancer is terrifying. Finding out you will need to undergo multiple body-modifying surgeries to prevent your death is terrifying. Throughout this terrifying process, Kimberly was there for me, not only as a nurse but as an advocate for my health, both mental and physical. Whenever I was worried about something, Kimberly was able to give me empathetic and experienced answers. She stood up for me as a patient and ensured I received the care I needed when I didn't know what to do. I can't imagine going through this process without her gentle guidance, unwavering ethics, and skilled care. I cannot put into words how much she's helped me.
