I would like to nominate Kim Gillard, RN, for the DAISY Award. She is amazing with her patients. She treats them as if they are her family. She goes above and beyond for them to ensure they have what they need and support to keep them out of the hospital.

One time she gave up her very own appointment so a patient who needed an appointment at that office was able to get in sooner than they would have been able to do so, as they were booked. Even if Kim has a day off, if a patient calls her and says they need supplies and they have not arrived at their home yet, she drops off the supplies they need to get them by until the supplies arrive.

Her patients love her and appreciate her. They always talk about how great she is. She does all of this without looking for thanks or a pat on the back. She does this from her heart.
