My father-in-law is in hospice and is an inpatient. I came in this morning at 7:45 am, and when I walked in, Kim was sitting with my father-in-law, who is basically unconscious but still breathing barely. She didn't want him to be alone. She had never even met him before this morning. Yet she sat with him for over 90 minutes. If I hadn't shown so early, who knows how long she would have sat with him. She is a wonderful, special person who should be recognized with every accolade coming her way. What she did for my father-in-law, I will never forget.
