She was attentive, professional, and compassionate—everything you would want in a nurse.
Kimberly is the best nurse that my wife has ever had. Her bedside manner is top-notch, and even on night shift, she would always come in trying to get a smile on my wife’s face. My wife has many blood clots, and it's painful. When she asked for meds—even though Kimberly was busy—she would come in when it was med time, and if she had other patients, she would stop by to tell my wife it would be a few minutes. She never treated my wife with anything but respect. She makes this hospital look good, and she stands for everything Mercy stands for. Her compassionate care, positive attitude, and professionalism are very Mercy-driven. We had a special connection with my wife and me. Thank you to whoever hired her.

Kim was everything you wish for in a nurse. She stands for Mercy in every way. She was mission-driven and made sure she got work done. I love the connection she made with me—we stayed on the same wavelength. We shared respect from the first day. The compassionate care she gave was always delivered with a great attitude and, again, was so professional. One example she showed is that she noticed I had to separate my pills from tabs and capsules, so she started putting the pills and capsules in two different med cups to make it easier on me. She did many other things like this, and this is just one of the reasons why she deserves the DAISY Award. She is amazing.

I was very nervous and had issues after the surgery, and Kim went above and beyond to take care of me. She was attentive, professional, and compassionate—everything you would want in a nurse. Honestly, all the nurses I had were absolutely wonderful, but Kim really stood out in the way she cared for me. She made me feel like I was a family member she was taking care of.
