I had hernia repair surgery, and Kim was the preop and postop nurse providing my care. Her thorough explanations in response to my questions satisfied my curiosity and put me at ease before going into surgery and before leaving Oakleaf. Kim's upbeat attitude and compassion made my morning as pleasant as a surgical morning could be. She was engaging through the entire process and had a good sense of humor. Kim made me feel comfortable during my stay and instilled confidence in me about the surgical preparation and post op care she provided. I went home with confidence and clear expectations about recovery at home as well as resources to use if I experienced problems. It was a treat to have her as my nurse.
