Kim was my husband’s nurse for two 12-hour shifts. She is kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and caring. Any question answered, any problem addressed. She kept us informed of the doctors’ orders. She worked well as a team member. This individual deserves recognition as a very important member of Flower Hospital’s staff. After a day off, she came in to check on my husband, and she wasn’t his nurse that day. An excellent nurse!

Imagine the relief experienced after fracturing your hip and then encountering a compassionate and efficient nurse. My mother was admitted to Flower Hospital after a variety of diagnostic tests were administered. My mom has special health needs, and Kim had already prepared her bed with measures to protect her skin. Keeping pace with all the incoming preop orders, Kim allayed my mom’s concerns by patiently explaining each preop step and administering medications to reduce pain while delivering excellent, caring clinical service.
