My Fiancé had to be rushed to Kaiser Vallejo emergency Dept due to a stroke. Once I arrived, I was greeted by his nurse, Kenneth. He said first thing, let me give you a hug, which was definitely needed at the time. Kenneth explained what was going on and that my fiancé had to be rushed via critical transport to Kaiser Redwood City to have a procedure called IR done. Kenneth explained that critical transport requires a nurse to accompany the patient just in case something happens on the way. Kenneth stated that the critical transport was an hour away and that we're not going to wait, and that he was going to go with him. On the way out to the ambulance, Kenneth put his arm around me and assured me that my Fiancé was in good hands, and I believed him.

Also, my fiancé's property got misplaced in the shuffle. Kaiser Redwood City stated that he didn't come with any property so I called Vallejo they also stated that there wasn't any property listed and provided me with the transport company phone number I called them, and the woman stated that she would contact the people who did his transport and call me back. I never received a callback. I did end up receiving a call from Kenneth, who stated that my fiancé's property was at Kaiser Vallejo ER. He apologized that they forgot it due to the urgency of getting my fiancé to Redwood City. Kenneth told me that I could pick it up anytime. Kenneth also took the time to ask how my fiancé was doing. Kenneth is genuinely an angel. He showed compassion, which is very much appreciated when you're experiencing a traumatic experience.

I will never forget Kenneth, as he's definitely very special. We were blessed to have him as a nurse, and Kaiser Vallejo is very blessed to have him as well. Thank you so much, Kenneth, for being a genuine, compassionate person. You're very much appreciated.
