Kemjika O. Chikeka has an infectious smile and is always willing to help anyone out in the nurse unit. He consistently demonstrated critical thinking skills and attention to detail working with patients during his clinical practicum. Kemjika was recognized by his preceptor when he discovered a medication discrepancy after reviewing a lethargic patient's medications and learned the patient was receiving a higher dosage than prescribed as an out-patient. Kemjika's preceptor and the charge nurse were thrilled that a student nurse found this error. The nurse manager and staff have expressed that Kemjika is an absolute pleasure to work with and exudes an outstanding level of communication and professional nursing practice in caring for patients.
