Kelsi Johnson, RN

Following my surgery, I woke up in PACU unable to speak due to severe dryness and sudden pain. I signaled for help, and a nurse immediately responded without me having to verbalize anything; Kelsi Johnson understood exactly what I needed, providing water, assessing my discomfort, and promptly offering appropriate pain medication. Her bedside manner was exceptional, she anticipated my needs, answered my questions with confidence and never left my side until I was fully awake and stable.

As an ER nurse myself, the experience opened my eyes to how vulnerable patients feel after sedation, and how vital compassionate care truly is. What stands out the most is that, despite not remembering her face or name, the way she made me feel stayed with me. I have been trying to get the name of this nurse and have finally found her tonight. The impact Kelsi left on me speaks to the quality of her care. For her professionalism, compassion, and the comfort she provided during one of my most vulnerable moments, I wholeheartedly commend Kelsi Johnson. Her dedication reflects the true foundation of nursing and deserves to be recognized. Thank you!
