I would like to commend Kelsey Utz, our night shift Charge Nurse, for the exceptional care, leadership, and compassion she brings to our unit every single day. Kelsey consistently goes above and beyond for both her patients and her team.

As a charge nurse, she carries so much responsibility, yet she handles it with a calm, steady presence that makes even the most overwhelming nights feel manageable. She is always willing to step in, help wherever needed, and ensure that everyone feels supported, whether that means taking on extra tasks, helping troubleshoot a difficult situation, or simply checking in to make sure her team is okay. What truly sets Kelsey apart is her kindness. She creates a work environment where people feel valued and cared for.

She leads not just with skill, but with heart. Even on the busiest nights, she never makes anyone feel like a burden for asking for help. Instead, she shows up with patience, encouragement, and a genuine willingness to go the extra mile.

What makes her impact even more meaningful is her strength. Despite navigating her own health challenges, Kelsey continues to show up fully for her team and her patients. She never lets it affect her dedication, her attitude, or the quality of care she provides.
