Kelly had taken a lot of stress off of one of our patients on Neuro. The patient had concerns about medication and care she would need for the day but was afraid she would not be heard. Kelly talked with the patient and gave her work phone number to the patient so she would have direct contact with her when she needed it. The patient felt better having this information and knowing her needs would be addressed. This had taken a lot of stress off of the patient. Thanks to Kelly’s compassion and empathy, she has made this patient’s hospital stay even better.
