We are honored to nominate Kelly Luke for the DAISY Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions as a nurse educator and Clinical Practice Specialist. Kelly embodies the very essence of compassion and patient-centered care while profoundly shaping the growth and confidence of the nurses she supports, especially those new to the profession.

Kelly has been with our unit for 4 years now as our CPS. Since day one, she has been a calming, consistent presence for everyone. She always makes time for everyone, even if her schedule is packed with events and meetings. She goes above and beyond every single day she is here. She has a magical way of knowing what we need before we even know it, and she comes to us with educational materials and tip sheets at the drop of a hat. Kelly even took on the clinical nurse educator role for my LEAD 4 project this year and guided me through the entire process all year long.
I have truly learned so much from her over these past 4 years and feel like a stronger nurse because of her. I genuinely feel no one deserves this award more than she does. She is everything that the DASIY Foundation represents.
