Kelly Aarons, RN

Kelly Aarons, a student pursuing her first professional degree, was described as a kindhearted, cheerful student who showed a high level of trustworthiness and dedication while working as an SNT at Stamford Hospital. When the pandemic first hit in March 2020, Aarons bought bolts of material and got to work at her sewing machine, making hundreds of masks and delivering them to the local ECF, as well as students and faculty. Noted as reliable, compassionate, and caring, she achieved high academic success and “exemplifies what the nursing profession needs as part of the next generation of nurses.”
