I took my best friend to this ER after she was sexually assaulted. She did not want to seek medical treatment at first and was very scared when we go to the ER as she had just endured something traumatic and also had invalidating experiences in the past with medical providers. Because of this, it was such a blessing to get Kelli as her nurse.

She was gentle and explained everything well, so my friend knew what to expect and felt prepared. She saw my friend's needs and met them at every turn. She was very attentive to even the small details, like warming up the speculum to decrease discomfort. (I appreciated this especially because a pelvic exam is already incredibly difficult for a sexual survivor) and thoroughly explaining the purpose of different medicines, why they are given. She made my friend feel as though she had her full autonomy and dignity, which means everything in the wake of an experience that often makes people feel they don't have those things.

I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for the compassion, professionalism, and personalized care that Kelli provided. She treated my loved one how I wanted her to be treated, and it made a world of difference to my friend and me.
