Kelli is recognized for her passion for excellence in Veteran care. She is a Navy Veteran. (Thank you for your service.) She has worked as a VA nurse in a Community Based Outpatient Clinic and is also a user of VA medical services. Her passion to improve VA care is personal and makes the mission even more pertinent. She has gone above and beyond her job role to ensure the team operates at an optimal level, exhibited by scheduling lunch and learns on pertinent project topics and VA requirements, mentoring new team members, and encouraging frequent interactions with other workstreams. She is looked to as a role model and her team members seek her counsel to assist them with making informed decisions.
Kelli has worked diligently to establish Clinical and Stakeholder relationships within the VA and OEHRM teams. She strongly believes if you do the right things, the right things will happen and is a strong advocate for her clients. Kelli focuses on what is needed by her clients and gets it done to their satisfaction. She is persistent and not afraid to express her ideas and propose solutions for improvement.
Kelli has worked very closely with the Clairvia team this year to assist them with driving the value of the Clairvia solutions with the VA clients. Both the Cerner and VA teams value her insight, support, and passion for improving the product and increasing the scope of use to meet VA requirements. Kelli is always looking for opportunities to improve her skills and knowledge and is actively pursuing her informatics certification in 2021.
