Keana shows up at every clinical rotation with a positive outlook. She engages with the nursing staff and patients during every clinical shift. Keana is observed interacting with the patients and their families and building rapport with each of her patients. She goes above and beyond to understand the patient's pathology, take care of the patient, and anticipate any deterioration early on. She exemplifies kindness, empathy, and critical thinking for everyone she encounters.

Beyond her skills and patient interactions, Keana's enthusiasm for every clinical shift is refreshing. She shows up ready to champion her clinical shift, seeking every opportunity without being asked. Patient care and skills are essential in nursing, but attitude and outlook are equally important. Keana demonstrates the tenacity of an outstanding student nurse and future new graduate nurse, with whom I look forward to working. She will be a great addition to nursing.
