Keairra is always attentive to the needs of her patients inside and out. Recently we had a patient, a young man, with substance abuse problems. He was quite unkempt and withdrawn. Keairra gently encouraged him to get out of bed and take a shower. After his shower, she combed and braided his hair. She walked past my office with someone, talking and laughing. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw who she was with! This young man was clean, smiling, and engaged in conversation. He was like a whole different person! He expressed heartfelt gratitude for her care and compassion. He stated no one has ever done something so kind for him. Many of our patients have experienced neglect throughout their lives. Keairra always makes them feel special and loved. Something as simple as a shower and haircare can make all the difference. This is just one example of many of Keairra's exceptional care. We are lucky to have her and more so, our patients are blessed to have her as part of their healthcare team.
