Kayleigh Mays, LPN
I would like to recognize Nurse Kayleigh, who made a meaningful difference in my husband’s care during a very difficult time. He has been dealing with severe pain and complications, and Kayleigh went above and beyond to make sure he was as comfortable as possible.
She took the time to truly listen and understand what he was going through. Because of her attentiveness and compassion, she advocated for additional support in managing his pain, including adding a muscle relaxer to help with painful spasms and a stool softener to prevent further discomfort from his medications. These may seem like small things, but they made a significant difference in his overall comfort and recovery.
What stood out the most was her consistency and dedication. Kayleigh made sure his medications were given exactly when they were due, without us having to constantly ask or remind anyone. That level of attentiveness gave us peace of mind and allowed my husband to rest without worrying about staying ahead of the pain.
Her kindness, proactive care, and attention to detail truly reflect what nursing is all about. She treated my husband with dignity and compassion, and she made a stressful situation much more manageable for both of us.
We are incredibly grateful for her care and believe she is very deserving of this recognition.
