I want to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Kayla, our night nurse, during my son’s hospital stay. My son, who has Level Two Autism, was admitted for complications after a tonsillectomy, and the experience was overwhelming for both of us. Having Kayla by our side each night made all the difference. From the very start, she showed remarkable attentiveness and forward-thinking in managing his medications, comfort, and overall well-being. She always put my son’s needs first and reassured me that she would check on him so I could rest, which was truly invaluable.

Kayla’s compassion and intelligence shone through every interaction. She was patient when answering my many questions, and her knowledge was both comforting and impressive. She connected with my son in such a caring and gentle way that, over the course of just three days, he went from being anxious about his vital signs to calmly allowing her to check them without any difficulty.
