I am writing to recognize and sincerely thank one of your nurses, Kaveh, for the extraordinary compassion and professionalism he showed while caring for my daughter during her recent visit to Saints Campus.

As a mother, watching my daughter battle addiction has been the most heartbreaking experience of my life. Unfortunately, along that journey, we have encountered healthcare professionals who have treated her as though she was less deserving of kindness because of her circumstances.

While I understand that emergency departments care for many patients facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges, every person who walks through those doors is still a human being deserving of dignity, respect, and compassionate care. Kaveh reminded us exactly what nursing is supposed to be.

He took the time to listen. He treated my daughter with genuine respect. He acknowledged both her as a patient and me as her mother and support system. He showed patience, understanding, and kindness without judgment.

His compassion made such an impact that while she was still in her treatment room, she asked me to go find him simply to thank him again for being so kind to her. She wanted him to know that he was the nicest nurse and medical professional she had ever been cared for by. As her mother, that statement alone speaks volumes,

People often remember the medications they received or the diagnosis they were given, but they never forget how they were treated. Kaveh's kindness restored a small piece of dignity to someone who has struggled to find it. That is a gift far greater than many realize,

Please recognize him for the exceptional care he provides. He represents the very best of what nursing should be, and I wanted to make sure someone took the time to acknowledge the difference he made, not only in my daughter's life that day, but in mine as well.

Please extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kaveh for treating my daughter as a person first, rather than defining her by her illness. His compassion will not be forgotten.

Thank you, Kaveh, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
