Since the very beginning of my chemo treatment plan, Kaitlyn has been extremely helpful. I was scared when I first started my chemo journey, and Kaitlyn took the time to sit with me and explain everything that was going to happen. Kaitlyn was so sincere and understanding while calming my nerves. She made me feel super confident in continuing forward with my journey. I was crying, and she eased all my fears. Since the first chemo treatment, she has been a constant in my journey. If I do not have her as my nurse for the day, she always makes an attempt to still come around and say hi to me and check in with me. She remembers everything I have told her about my life and always follows up with me the next week. I told her about my youngest son having a basketball tournament. The next treatment day, she came and asked me how my son did at the basketball tournament. Kaitlyn is extremely compassionate in caring for all her patients. She lightens up the environment and makes me laugh and smile. She is organized and on top of everything. I rarely have to wait long in order to receive my chemo meds. I can honestly say that having Kaitlyn as my nurse has made this journey easier to handle and gives me more enthusiasm to continue and push through this. When I am feeling down about my progress, Kaitlyn always has a way of turning this into something positive. Kaitlyn always makes sure I'm comfortable and will do anything I need. Kaitlyn deserves this award and any other awards that may be out there. Once I am done with treatment, I know I will miss seeing her and having her build up my strength and confidence. Every time I have treatment, I know it will be good and I know that I will be greatly taken care of, all because of Kaitlyn.
