Today is my brother's first chemo treatment. Katie was assigned as his nurse. My brother and I calmly waited for the experience to unfold. With calm and grace, Katie provided the heartfelt service that satisfied us. I was immediately confident in her delicate care, and I was sure that my brother was in good hands.

There were three or four times during the process that I was moved to emotional tears by Katie’s care, and care that all the other ladies on the floor showed all the patients and visitors. One time, I had to walk out and go up to the vending machine area to get myself back settled down. It was like these nurses are angels, and I saw them move station to station and spread their healing and love to all they touched.

This first treatment will be something that I will forever remember and cherish. Katie and all the other ladies on the floor that day gave that service from their hearts. They showed their professional grace and patience to all.
