Katie King, MSN, RN, CPN, CNEcl, CNE

Katie King is not only a leader and teacher of our students, but she mentors her peers and does it without making you concerned that she would judge you for your knowledge deficit. She is the epitome of a service-oriented leader for our faculty members and students.

Here is a specific example of how this individual has shown above-and-beyond care and compassion: She came in early to help fellow faculty who needed a little assistance and ended up assisting every other member of the faculty and made it look easy. She has so many talents but never keeps her amazing qualities to herself; she shares them with all of us, and we, as a community and college, are better because she is here!

Just a few of her shared talents: Great test writer, excellent computer and time management with organizational skills, holds certifications in her specialties, and helps others achieve their goals for certification, fellowship awards, and professional development. She is here to help and does it with a smile. She makes me want to be a better nursing instructor. Thank you!
