Katey Spry, RN

Our 4-year-old had her tonsils out, and Katey Spry got her ready for surgery. She was so calm, never rushing, and so attentive to interacting with my kiddo as the patient. She asked sincere questions and waited for the reply. She did nothing that wasn't calm, soothing, and reassuring. My kiddo came into the day with very little fear, and I was amazed how Katey preserved that ease that lasted through getting rolled away for the procedure. The image in my mind of her is her patiently waiting (longer than I would have) for my daughter to paint the essential oils inside her mask until she considered it perfectly complete. I appreciate her setting the tone for a day that went so smoothly and was filled with great staff interactions.
