The level of detail and commitment Karyn gives to her job is remarkable. She meets with all her new hires and immediately puts them at ease. She commits to meeting with them weekly and never misses.

Her new nurse residents state, "They couldn't do it without Karyn!" She looks out for them, keeps them on track with their projects, and helps them to feel successful along the way. She provides them with a level of comfort that supports their success.

Karyn rounds on the units daily to meet with staff and check in on anything they may need assistance with. On holidays, she'll deliver individual handmade treats or snacks to each and every unit she covers. She goes out of her way to do the little things to show she cares!

She lets staff know they're seen in an otherwise busy environment. She continues to advocate for our patients through her community involvement in ARN and patient advocacy work. Karyn is one of those special people who still loves what she does, and it shows!
