From the moment my daughter was brought into the room, Karol saw to her every need. She was very thorough and attentive to the comfort of my child. She took the time to explain everything that she was doing and how to keep my daughter comfy. Karol took the time to engage me and my family on a personal level and not just as her nurse; she comforted me as a mother of her own kids. When she learned of the passing of my oldest daughter, who was also in the ATV accident, she passed no judgment. She was an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on, and I am forever grateful for that. Karol even took time out of her busy schedule during her breaks to pop in to my daughter’s room and just say hello to us and ensure we were all OK during the time she was on duty. She administered the best and most professional care I have ever seen at a medical facility. Her level of expertise, attention to detail, and overall knowledge of my daughter’s injuries and how to care for them is unmatched. My daughter felt so at ease, as did we, when we knew Karol was on duty. It takes a certain type of person to make an impact on the youth of today, but through her hard work and discipline, I can honestly say that Nurse Karol has achieved that. If ever there was a nurse or other nurses to emulate and follow, it is her. We are forever in her debt for all that she has done. We know it is never easy on them, but her years of experience and level of medical knowledge allow her to handle even the toughest of tasks.
